For over 20 years, OAE has given students an opportunity to explore the mid-atlantic and beyond. Now that you have learned about our Wilderness Institute, there are still more trips we offer. Backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboaring, and rock-climbing are our bread and butter. We offer a 5-day pre-fall orientation program for incoming freshman at Loyola University Maryland, and week-long discernment based backpacking trip at the end of the year.

You will not only find us outdoorsing on weekends throughout the semester, but on campus as well. Visit us every Tuesday and Wednesday outside Loyola's dining hall to register for trips and play fun games. Looking for teambuilding? We have led teamwork-workshops for groups large and small. Orienting others is our mission! Staff is always looking to help groups and individuals gel effectively.
